Description
Shoshone Golf and Tennis Club began in 1922 on the lower portion of Gold Run Mountain. At that time it consisted of just three holes, a few sand greens and a club house, which was built with donated lumber.In the late 1970's, at the height of the silver market, the Sunshine Mining Company made a land trade with the club and moved the golf course to its present location atop Gold Run Mountain.
